to Vastu Shastra , the eight static directions are NORTH,
NORTH-EAST, NORTH-WEST, SOUTH, SOUTH-EAST, SOUTH-WEST, EAST
AND WEST. Each direction is governed by god and has unique
characteristic. The top of the page kept in readable
position is considered as NORTH direction, the bottom as
SOUTH, left as WEST direction and the right as EAST
direction.
